MediaCom Norway and MediaCom USA recognised at Global Festival of Media Awards

MediaCom Norway and MediaCom USA have both been recognised at the 2013 Global Festival of Media Awards in Switzerland.

MediaCom Norway’s ‘IKEA’s Magic Mittens’ (in partnership with SMFB) was named Best Launch Campaign, while MediaCom USA’s ‘VW Beetle Shark Cage’ was Highly Commended in the Best Entertainment Category. MediaCom had already received a total of 33 shortlisted entries, the best performance by any agency.

The Global Festival of Media Awards recognise excellence in media thinking around the world and celebrate the most innovative and effective work. Entries are judged by some of the world’s most influential media and marketing experts, including: Ben Jankowski, Group Head of Global Media at MasterCard Worldwide; Sital Banerjee, Senior Director & Global Head of Media at Philips; and Luca Neyroz, GM Brand and Communication, Toyota Motor Europe.

MediaCom’s success at this year’s ceremony follows Agency Network of the Year triumphs in 2012 and 2010. The agency was also named Agency Network of the Year at the M&M Awards in 2011 for an unprecedented third year in a row.
